To make this event a success, the organising committee of Deidre Ewart, Lisa Rose, Kay Taylor and Jolene Nelson are in need of some assistance from our school community. Our wonderful PTA will be helping with a number of these events, but an event of this size needs many hands.

In particular, help is needed in the following areas:

  • Photography - we are looking for both a professional photographer and someone with a keen eye for photos to act as a roving photographer to capture the event in action.
  • Assistance designing and preparing a large memorabilia and photo display prior to the event.
  • Contributions for articles, memories and photos that could be borrowed and where possible, copied for displays.
  • Someone with a Bar Manager's license.
  • General volunteers to help set up for the event on the Friday, the Saturday and for the clean up on the Sunday after the event.
  • Someone who may be able to assist to prepare a 100 year book on the history of Tauriko School, with assistance with the material of course!

There will be many more tasks that the organisers will need help with over the next few months, so if you are able to help with any of the above, or be on a general contact list as tasks arise, please complete and return the notice being sent home with eldest and only children later this week or email onehundred@tauriko.school.nz

Plans are now rolling out fast so if you are please able to let organisers know if you are able to help with any of the above by Friday 22nd June, that would be great!
