Message from the PTA

Jolene Nelson —

With Learning Partnership Meetings approaching, the PTA are organising juicies and a sausage sizzle to have available to purchase between 4-6pm on both the two days of Learning Partnership Meetings (28th Feb and 1st March)...

So if this sounds like a bit of you, bring along some cash and come and see  our awesome PTA helpers on the library deck for afternoon tea (or even a super simple dinner!)

As you may have seen when registering for swimming sports, the PTA are paying for the bus transport to swimming sports in a couple of weeks time.  Although we love to see new or refurbished places around the school such as the air conditioning units, the refurbished library or the refurbished pool, it is also a priority of the PTA to be able to help contribute back to the school community families.  So this year, the PTA will also be helping reduce costs for families through paying for the transport costs to cross country and by making a contribution to the bi-annual off-site Argos Gym trip.

In 2019, the PTA will also make a contribution to the cost of camp fees. We understand the start of the year is an expensive time and would like to help offset some of these costs where it is feasible.

If you have any queries about the PTA or for any further information, you can contact the school office, call Jolene on 027 233 2676 or email pta@tauriko.school.nz.
