100 year Centenary

Deidre Ewart —

Time is creeping up fast and the Centenary is now less than two months away. Thank you to those who have responded as being able to volunteer to help out to make the Centenary itself happen.

We really appreciate the support to make this event a reality. If you are able to help out, particularly on Saturday 22nd September, we would still love to hear from you. Please email onehundred@tauriko.school.nz or download the attached form so we can collect your contact details and time preferences.

Merchandise for the event is now able to be ordered and includes, beanies, caps, hoodies, polo shirts and tea towels.   Included within this newsletter is the order form that can be downloaded.  A 100 year commemorative book is in the process of being prepared and will also be able to be ordered closer to the event.

As current school staff, students and parents of students, please do not be shy in signing up to come along to the event.  It would be great to have current families in attendance aswell as past staff and students.

If you are keen to attend the celebrations on the 21st and 22nd September, make sure you register at the Early Bird prices before the 27th July by signing up at http://www.tauriko.school.nz/3201/pages/601-how-to-register

Also, if you are part of the Facebook world, don't forget to ''like'' the Tauriko School 100 year celebration event on Facebook to keep an eye on relevant information and to be nosey at the weekly Photo Friday pictures of Tauriko School over the past 100 years. Please keep on sharing the event and posts amongst friends and family on Facebook too - we would love for the online reach of this event to be far and wide!
