Meet our Head Students

Lisa Rose —

Our Head Students for 2020 are Ella Wilford and Zoe Davy. Find out a bit about them by reading their profile blurbs below:

Ella:
Hello everyone,
My name is Ella and I am excited to be in the position of Head Student for 2020 along with Zoe.

I have been at Tauriko School for all of my eight primary school years and have loved every minute. I remember my first school visit, I was nervous but very excited and wanting to start school immediately!
I have had several leadership roles in the past, such as being a School Council member, a Librarian, a Bus Monitor and a Peer Mediator. I hope to be an inspirational figure to all those at Tauriko and a role model that they look up to, always there for them and someone who can help.

When not at school, you can find me on a couch with a book in hand that I am completely absorbed in. I also love any type of art, and I like dancing. I care about everything I do and always complete work to the best of my ability, it has to be perfect!

I have a little brother whose name is Kian, he is currently a Year 3 at Tauriko School. My Mum is German, and my Dad comes from South Africa. My family is my support crew, always there for me, and encouraging me all the way.
I am very excited to be here and can’t wait to see what the year brings!

Zoe:
Hi, I'm Zoe Davy. I'm a head student alongside Ella. I started at Tauriko when I was five years old. I am the youngest in my family and I have one sibling, Zane, he is at Tauranga Boys College. My mum is Suzanne and my dad is Marcus. I love hockey, visiting my friends, travelling and seeing my cousins. I have five pets, one dog (Oscar), three cats (Jaffa, Milo and Nala) and a rabbit (Cottontail).

I love how Tauriko is so different - it's small but loud and there are so many opportunities for students eg, Dynamos, Librarian, Amazing Race, School Council, Choir, Green Team, Kapa Haka, Jump Jam, Head Student and so much more.
I'm lucky to be one of the Head Students for 2020. l am looking forward to hearing all your ideas and representing Tauriko School.
