What a great day to celebrate athletics at Tauriko School. 

The weather was perfect and everybody arrived dressed in their house colours, full of excitement, ready to do their best. One could feel the positive vibes and high spirits from a mile away. 

The morning started with an opening ceremony led by our head boy and girl. They gave a motivating speech about our school values. This was followed by a Haka from our Kapa Haka group. They gave a powerful performance, that was really enjoyed by everybody. The Tall Poppies and our supportive parents were invaluable in making this a successful day for all. 

We are proud to say that everyone participated and it was encouraging to see children, parents and grandparents involved.
