We would like to congratulate and celebrate one of our Year 6 students Riley Forrest.
Riley has qualified for the 2023 New Zealand Gymnastics Championships and has been selected as part of the Bay of Plenty team, this means Riley is one of the top 4 gymnasts in the BOP for Step 5.
Riley will be competing in the first week of the school holidays with her first day of competition on Thursday 6th July at Mercury Baypark, Tauranga.
Riley has put in years of training and is currently training 13 hours a week which means she has had to sacrifice a lot to achieve her goal.
