On Tuesday the 21st of May the Year 1 - 8 students participated in our Whole School Cross Country at Waipuna Park.

The weather was spectacular, the house colours were vibrant and the students certainly had a great crowd there to support them. The students certainly gave it their all and it was so neat to hear everyone cheering for their house groups from the bank. 

Here's what a few of the students had to say about our Cross Country at Waipuna Park: 

Year 1 and 2

It was great I came 9th overall for the Year 2 Boys - Kian Wilford 

Year 3 and 4

It was great coming 4th and having a sausage sizzle. I felt good when I crossed the finish line - Cole Beach 

Year 5 and 6

I ran in a tutu and I also tried my hardest - Noah Berridge 

Tall Poppies

I enjoyed seeing all the house colours and people cheering for their houses - Ella Wilford
