In Room 3 we have been learning about the sea.

Firstly, we asked lots of questions about what we would like to know about the sea. Most of us are very interested in sea animals. We then went off to draw a picture of a sea creature we wanted to learn about and then wrote one question we wanted to answer. Writing questions was a tricky task but we were resilient and got there in the end. Check out some of our questions below!

Miss Johnson then threw a curveball at us. How were we going to get answers for our questions? Well this was something we had to ponder. Most of us thought we could just problem solve like in math’s but came to the realisation that this was not going to work for questions we knew nothing about. During Term 2 we are going to try and answer these questions using the following strategies.

• Watch a program
  
• Go look in the water
  
• Watch a video
  
• Look in a book
  
• Search on the computer
  
• Use Google
  
• Ask Siri (on our iPads)
