THANK YOU TO OUR COACHES AND MANAGERS

As we are past the halfway mark of term 3 winter sports, I'd like to take a minute to appreciate all the work our coaches and managers have put in.

This term has been like no other, not only have you given up countless hours coaching/managing, you have shown flexibility and patience throughout with all the changes and protocols we have had to adhere to.Thank you just doesn't seem enough, you have devoted so much of your time and effort into making your teams the success they are today through teaching them sportsmanship, fairplay and the skills they need to compete as a team all while dealing with a pandemic. You have all done an amazing job and the school and students appreciate it.

KELLY SPORT AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMME
E
xpressions of interest for Term 4
Would your daughter or son be interested in a weekly programme that gives children active skills and confidence in a fun and enjoyable environment? Kelly Sport After School Programme will not only provide an essential base for children’s motor skills and coordination, it will encourage their enthusiasm for sport and the life skills that such involvement brings - giving them the confidence to join sports clubs and teams in the future.
The After School Programme will be delivered once a week for 8 weeks in Term 4. The
sessions will be for one hour straight after school on the school grounds. Cost for the programme is $90. The programme is for children Y’s 0-4
In Term 4 we will be doing Turbo Touch, Cricket, Athletics and Baseball:Tball
As this is facilitated by an outside provider they would need a minimum of 15 students registered for the programme to go ahead. So interest can be gauged, please email Michelle on sports@tauriko.school.nz by Friday 4th September if you would be interested in registering your child.
