And the final tally is in for the Market Day.... $6,638! For an in school time fundraiser, the PTA are impressed!

Funds raised from the Market Day, along with money from the events held throughout the year, are being put towards an outdoor confidence course with PTA members starting to look at initial options for a confidence course  shortly.    

Athletics Day 

Thank you to all those that supported the PTA bbq at Athletics Day on Monday.  Close to $600 was raised on the day towards the outdoor confidence course :) 

Upcoming Events 

At this time of the year, so much is taking place both within school and outside of school, that the PTA intentionally starts to wind down.  However, this year the PTA will be present at the open evening of the Art Expo  coming up in the first week of December, so do come along for a easy dinner through the PTA bbq. The PTA will also have a number of raffle tickets up for sale on the night and in the lead up to the Art Expo so please bring along some spare change to support the last event the PTA is involved for the year.  

Also keep an eye out in the next newsletter and on the Tauriko School Facebook page for some information on some Christmas hampers that the Tauriko School PTA will be putting up for auction on Trade Me. There are some great auctions that potentially could be ideal Christmas presents, while at the same time supporting Tauriko School.
