The word is out! Our fantastic new outdoor tennis tables have arrived!
The tables are proving to be a real hit with our tamariki and they're also doing a great job of encouraging active play and developing hand-eye coordination skills!
The Tauriko School Parent Teachers Association (PTA) purchased the tables with the generous support of Pub Charity Limited and our amazing school community who supported the Bingo Night fundraiser earlier this year. A BIG 'thanks' also goes to Pete from SkyHooksNZ Tauranga, who gave his time free of charge to help us lift the 350kg table tops into place! And of course, we can't forget our caretaker, Shane Mulcahy, who stayed late after school to help the 'PTA Dads' put the tables together!
