Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori was celebrated by our Kapa Haka boys with a workshop on Wednesday run by Matua Kuka and Matua Justin from Te Wananga o Aotearoa.

​Our boys learnt about different aspects of haka, mau rakau and pukana. Over the course of an hour their confidence grew and their eyes were widened to the possibilities within Kapa Haka.The boys left the workshop buzzing and the Maunganui haka could be heard resounding through the playground throughout lunchtime and as boys headed home for the day. It was such an empowering workshop for our boys and we feel very lucky that Matua Kuka and Matua Justin were able to make time to come and inspire our Kapa Haka.
