Four full days of each term our Tall Poppies head off to Tauranga Primary to the Technology Suite for intensive Tech sessions.

This term the Tall Poppies have been rotating through the classrooms doing BioTech. They have been excited to get involved in the technology processes of planning, designing, creating and reflecting on their products. In BioTech, they have been making bath bombs, soaps and lip balms. Next week they have one last product to create, which is unknown at the moment. It will be an exciting surprise for them to look forward to. The students enjoy Tech and are buzzing at the end of every session, excited to share what they have made that day.

A few Tall Poppies commented on how they were finding BioTech: "I love being able to create new things that I have never made before." "I really enjoy it because it's really close to Christmas and we can make these for Christmas." "I enjoy the planning process because it is interesting making changes to make the product better".

Next Monday, 12th November, is the open hour at Tech, from 12pm-1pm, where the students can showcase their creations. Please feel welcome to come and visit them at Tauranga Primary School during this time, and celebrate their efforts.
