The Green Team have been hard at work over the last two weeks with Spring Planting.

The new green space outside Rooms 9, 10, and 11 is coming along nicely. The Green Team helped Mr Foot plant some tussock grass on the mound.

They have also started sowing seeds for spring and summer vegetables. Tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, peas, and lettuce will soon be popping up in the gardens.

The chickens are growing fast. We now have 3 laying chickens and 4 young pullets. The Green Team enjoy collecting eggs, feeding and cleaning out the coop.

Big plans are afoot for beautifying the chicken's living areas.

If anyone has some straw or hay going spare the Green Team would love to take it off your hands.
