Year 5-8 students at Tauriko School have had the option of bringing their own device to school since Term 1 of 2013.

This scheme has been really successful as it allows us to have lower student:device ratios for learning and in turn supports us to provide more engaging, hands-on, personalised learning experiences for all.

It is entirely optional for students to be involved in BYOD. There is an application process that must be completed and approved before a student can bring a device into school. BYOD application forms and User Agreements can be downloaded from our website. Information can also be found on our website in regards to the requirements for approved devices.
