At the end of term 1 the Tall poppies went on camp. Archery was one of the activities.

Safety is key. Make sure no one is standing in the way. Identify your target. Don't rush your shot.

First we need to know how to shoot the arrow. Clip the arrow into the bow string. Line it up, pull back as far as you can. Make sure you are still in line. Line up the shot, and shoot!

You also need to know how to line up with the bullseye. Look down the arrow like looking down the scope of a gun. To hit the bullseye you need accuracy. You need to find out what way the wind is blowing.

Archery is a good sport to get into. I loved it.
