To open our annual Leadership Week, Leah Owen (TGC Head Girl) and Russell Green (TBC Deputy Head Boy) came and spoke on Monday with our Year 5-8 students.

Leah and Owen each shared their own leadership journeys. There were powerful messages for all students as they both reiterated the importance of perseverance, commitment, communication and compassion.

Charlotte:
"I really enjoyed listening to Leah and Russell taking about their leadership journey. I liked how they said that you don't have to have a badge or be in a group to be a leader, that you can be a leader any where.
Also I liked how they spoke about always persevering, getting through it and bouncing back."

Rico:
"Thank you so much for coming, Russell and Leah. I loved listening to you guys talk about your leadership journey, and who inspires you. You guys are great people and I loved meeting you."
