In the junior school we have been taking our bees that we have made on a journey.

The first stop on this journey was Tauriko School. We have looked at the timeline of the school and these are on our walls in Room 3 and 4. Room 3 has also written acrostic poems about the school. We looked at Te Reo Maori myths and legends in our region. We are currently learning about Tauranga, the port and Mount Maunganui. The Wee Sprouts have made some visual representations of our ideas. Its great to see where we fit into our communities and that we belong to a bigger picture. Room 5 drew some pictures showing the information they learnt from our expert that came in to talk about the Tauranga Port. Check out the photos below to see some of this amazing work.
