Term 1 sports are now well underway and it sounds like there is some great fun being had in the pool and on the fields.

Term 2 and 3 sports information will be out in a few weeks with the options available for the school teams for winter sports, being hockey, netball and basketball.  

In-class time hockey and netball sessions are also being held over the next few weeks, which will help to give students a taster for these sports and help students decide if they want to be involved or not this winter.      

Netball 

On Thursday 7th March, Tauriko School have been offered the opportunity to hold a netball coaching session for parents and potential coaches. This will be held onsite at Tauriko School from 3-4pm.  This session will complement the in-class sessions aimed at students being held that same week.  If this interests you please email Jolene at sports@tauriko.school.nz by 1st March 2019.  

Yummy Stickers

Keep those yummy stickers from your supermarket shopping coming in.  Last year your sticker collections meant we received $200 of new balls for the classroom ball boxes - which is great! 

Our collation of the Yummy cut-out labels from bags and individual Yummy apple stickers will be sent away in August so whenever you fill a sheet, just drop it into the office so it is out of your way. The more stickers and labels we collate, the more of a share of $200,000 in sports gear we will be able to be part of.

Pahoia Triathlon
