At Tauriko School we believe there is a leader within everyone. We provide opportunities for students to become actively involved citizens and to identify and develop their leadership qualities.

On Friday the 11th of May some of the Year 5 - 8 students had the privilege to attend Tauranga Girls and Boys College show 'Beauty and the Beast'. Read about what some of the students thought about it below:

Talofa! This term we have started a lunchtime Pacifika group.

Yet again our awesome students have blown us away with their awesome fundraising skills! An interim figure of just over $10,000 has been raised through the Spellathon which is a phenomenal effort!

In the first week of Term 2, two teams of talented Tall Poppies competed in the EPRo8 Challenge in Papamoa.

Some of our Tall Poppies headed to Rotorua to get a taste of marathon running.

Congratulations to our two Year 5 and 6 Tauriko Teams who competed in the ‘Amazing Race Challenge’ on Friday 18th May at the Tauranga Domain.

On Monday the 14th of May, our Tall Poppies travelled to Hamilton for the annual NYLD. There they were inspired by the messages of some prominent leaders.
