Introducing Kaho Terada, our Japanese assistant teacher, who will be supporting Japanese language learners for Term 3.

Kaho joins a long list of assistant teachers from our sister school Hannan High school. This is the first time since COVID that we’ve been able to welcome Hannan High graduates back to our college. We’ll also be sending our graduates to Hannan High from this year to support their English language program. From Kaho: “Hi! This is actually my third time coming to Tawa College. I came twice as an exchange student, and definitely wanted to come back again as an Assistant teacher. I love New Zealand and eventually want to live here permanently. I’m also into sports! I particularly love rugby and have been to four games already! Before I go back to Japan, I want to do a road trip of the South Island. I am excited to be back at Tawa College to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.”
