Capital E trip

On Thursday 22nd June, 201 Media Studies students went on their annual trip to Capital E. This is a fun trip that Media Studies students participate in where they learn how to create live TV productions, using industry standard gear.

Students created a show about an alien invasion. This was a valuable learning experience, not only for their technical skills, but for the soft skills of teamwork and kaupapa. Students took on particular roles and faced many challenges, but the result of their final shows were some of the smoothest shows ever made from our school.

In Term 3, 101Media and 301Media students have their trips. We hope to take our Year 9 students, from both halves of the year in Term 4, depending on timetable and school approval.
