Thank you to everyone that came along to the Matariki celebration event on Monday 24 July 2023

Congratulations to Te Ohu Ākengokengo, our Māori Student Council, who organised a very successful and uplifting celebration of Matariki here at Tawa College. Te Ohu Ākengokengo spent many weeks of their personal time to plan for Matariki Night, which included speeches, laughing, kai, learning, and performances from Te Kohu o Tawa kapa haka, the Samoan Group, the Kuki Airani Group, and kapa haka from Tawa Intermediate School.
