The Post Primary Teachers’ Association (PPTA) has directed members to attend a paid Union meeting on Friday 17th May 2024.

There is provision for paid Union meetings to be held under Section 26 of the Employment Relations Act 2000. The Branch has notified the school that a meeting will be held on Friday 17th May 2024 and will involve all teachers at Tawa College who are members of the PPTA. As a result school will finish for the day at 12.00pm (midday). Students will be released for the day at this time.

We will have some staff available to supervise students who are unable to return home at 12.00pm. Please let us know if you need supervision for your child by emailing secretary@tawacollege.school.nz
