We have some outstanding athletes in our kura and it is wonderful to see them take up opportunities to further their skills and play with others of the same ability.

At the end of last term, at a whole kura hui, we acknowledged two talented young basketballers who had trialled for Canterbury basketball. Both Carter and Connor made the Canterbury squad and during the holidays they participated in the South Island regional tournament in Ashburton. Carter was in Canterbury red and they finished 2nd. Connor was in Canterbury black and they finished 5th. Congratulations boys!
