The Ministry of Education is providing schools with an additional Teacher Only Day in 2023 to continue to work on the revised NZ Curriculum. The Board of Trustees would like to advise that Te Ahi Kaikōmako Rolleston School will be closed for instruction on THURSDAY 16th NOVEMBER.

We have decided to select Thursday 16th NOVEMBER as it is the day before CANTERBURY ANNIVERSARY DAY (Friday 17th NOVEMBER). 

Rather than creating two shorter school weeks, Te Ahi Kaikōmako Rolleston School will be closed for instruction two days Thursday 16th (Teacher Only Day) & Friday 17th (Canterbury Anniversary) November.

Providing advanced warning of this day will assist in the planning of alternative options for your children on this day.
