A massive congratulations to the Rolleston Vipers who finished 3rd Place overall in the Year 8 Selwyn Hawks Basketball League. The team consisted of Carter Bedford, Ayden Hanson, Ashton Bainbridge, Rocky Makalio-Bell, Ben Kyle, Connor Cawood, Honor Warman and Jared Hohepa.

I received the following email from the team manager:  "I wanted to let you know that I had the pleasure of managing a basketball team organised by Selwyn Hawks consisting of children from Rolleston School. They played in the Primary School competition on Monday after school for 12 weeks. The team finished 3rd overall in the A grade, each week they played their best and were fair and respectful competitors. It was fantastic to see this group of young people doing something they enjoy while working together as a team!! I was impressed with their manners as every week they thanked me for my time and were very grateful that I took them."

I LOVE receiving emails like this and I am incredibly proud of these students who competed hard on the court while also showing our school values.
