WOW!!! Another term bites the dust! This has been another roller coaster of a term where we have lived between alert levels, had the disappointment of events being cancelled and at the same time celebrated the events that could go ahead. My final thanks this term goes to YOU....our amazing Te Ahi Kaikomako Rolleston School Hapori.

Thank YOU for.........

  • your kind words and emails
  • the continued gifts of a morning tea or a sponsored muffin
  • supporting our students by giving up YOUR time to help on trips & camps, the Garden 2 Table programme or helping in our classrooms
  • communicating directly with the school if you have any questions, compliments or concerns
  • supporting the Alert Level 2 procedures
  • supporting our school values and our growing E Tū Tāngata mindset of "You Have Value", "We Succeed Together" and "Others Matter"

Decile Review

We have sent our completed Decile Review to the Ministry of Education for analysis. We hope to hear back next term with their findings. Thank you to the 350 (ish) families who were able to return the form.

As part of this process we completed a random draw of all returned envelopes with the winning child/ren to win a pizza lunch for their class. Congratulations Dihan Van Der Kaay (Room 3) and Kayden Van Der Kaay (Studio 5) who were the lucky winners. Room 3 and Studio 5 will get their pizza lunch early Term 4.

PB4L Fun Day

It was great to acknowledge all of our students for the way they are using our school values and E Tū Tāngata mindset. The movie and popcorn day was a huge hit and a great way to end the Term. Thank you to Mrs Baugh and Mrs McCormack for organising such a great day and to our PTA for funding the popcorn.

Term 4 Events

Please refer to the newsletter, facebook page and school app. to keep up to date with school events that are set to run in the first two weeks back at school.

Have a great term break and look forward to seeing you all on Monday 12th October.

Cheers

Simon
