Every second Friday our kura (school) gathers for a whole kura assembly to celebrate our awesome tamariki. (children)

Certificates are given by kaiako (teachers) for kura successes and we also celebrate our homegrown heroes as we acknowledge efforts outside the kura. 

Last week we celebrated Jesse for his commitment to drama and success on stage. 

We celebrated Hannah who created keychains for doctors. And we celebrated Mina for her gymnastics successes. 

We have so many amazing tamariki at our kura.
