Last week, 12 of our year 7/8’s attended orienteering at the Primary Sport Canterbury Summer Tournament. The day started with a skill session on how to read an orienteering map and then it was straight into a rogaine challenge and then an orienteering challenge around South Hagley Park.

We had 3 teams and each team took out a top 3 position in either rogaine or orienteering, ka pai!
It was lovely to see our teams working together to complete the challenges and showing so much respect to the organisers for the day. Thanks so much to Heather, our teacher aide and orienteering queen who prepared the teams and coached them today.
