A reminder that Friday 8th July (last day of Term 2) is a Staff Only Day & school will be closed.

Important message regarding Staff Only days in 2022

Through the Primary Teachers Collective Agreement settlement back in 2019, eight additional Teacher Only Days were allocated in an accord between the Ministry of Education, and the Primary & Secondary Teacher unions (to be used in 2020-2022)

To date, we have only used a small number of these days, as our focus was the wellbeing of our students and whānau both pre and post Covid lockdowns, and we know that any school closures impact hugely on our families.

This year we will be using 3 of the available days in the accord. Please note that we won’t be using all 8 days that were available as part of the settlement.

Staff Only Dates 2022:

Friday 3rd May – Community of Learning Day involving 20+ schools

Friday 8th July (last day of Term 2) – Literacy Professional learning day. The school will be closed for instruction for students. All staff will be at school working that day.

Friday 30th September (last day of Term 3)
