Alana will be joining our team as a teacher in the Kererū Learning Community from Term 4.

​Kia ora koutou. My name is Alana Cramond and I am excited to become part of the team at Te Ao Mārama. I am looking forward to meeting and working with all the wonderful staff, students and whānau that make up this amazing school community.

I grew up in Hamilton and have been teaching here for over 10 years. I love to guide children to make their own learning discoveries and I encourage them to explore their curiosities and wonderings. I find teaching very rewarding and strive to be a lifelong learner to assist me to be the best teacher I can be.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, both overseas and throughout Aotearoa, hiking to discover new places and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy photography and baking yummy treats.
