From the Board
Kia ora koutou,
Welcome back to Term 3! We hope everyone had a great break. As we dive into the second half of the year, we're excited to see all the amazing mahi that our kura will accomplish this term.
We are also thrilled to welcome back our Tumuaki (Principal), Tony, who has returned after his time away on sabbatical. As a board we are committed to supporting Tony in his continued professional development, recognising that his growth as the leader he is benefits our entire kura and community while also allowing him the time and space to refresh.
A big thank you goes out to Anna and Sally and the team for their incredible work in holding down the fort during Tony's absence. Their dedication ensured that everything ran smoothly, and we are grateful for their mahi that kept the school running seamlessly!
We are pleased to share that our mid-year data is looking very positive. Our students have shown strong progress across the board, and we're particularly proud of the gains made in reading and writing. We are committed to supporting and investing in our tamariki and staff to ensure that we are meeting the needs of all our learners, so we are very pleased to see the progress that has been made.
Here's to a fantastic Term 3!
