Congratulations to our inaugural Te Ao Mārama Golf Team who competed in the Waikato Primary-Intermediate Golf Championships held at the Ngāhinepouri Golf Club recently.

This is a combined tournament so our players competed against both Primary and Intermediate aged students.

The weather was fantastic and so to the results!  Our two Ambrose teams (Tia, Caleb, Sonny, Nathan, Marco, Conor & Enrique) played really well, they enjoyed the course and had heaps of fun - they even managed to secure prizes at the end!

Our two individual golfers (Kale and Waatea) played some great shots and had some patches of brilliance against their older Intermediate competitors.

A special congratulations to Waatea Waudby for winning the shortened course Championships. Waatea birdied the 9th hole, shooting a 38 to force a playoff. Under pressure he managed to par the extra hole and win the playoff.
