Last year our very own student, Olivia, was a finalist in this competition & was flown to Wellington as part of her prize!

One of the pillars of Wellington Lantern Festival is to inspire creativity in children and young people. Our National Children’s Lantern Workshop embodies this and encourages imagination and creativity in primary school children around New Zealand by providing them resources to create their own lanterns. This year we have 157 schools with over 15,000 students from 14 different regions participating, our largest amount of schools thus far.
