Covid Update

Tony Grey —

We are continuing to see a slight increase in positive cases in our school community.

Since returning to school in Term 2, we have recorded a total of 37 cases, with a high number of staff also affected.

As we move into the Winter months a further increase in cases is expected, as well as all the other seasonal colds and flus. Unfortunately they are expecting the cold/flu season to be a lot worse this year due to our borders being closed, and lockdowns over the last 2 years.

We will certainly do everything we can to try and stay open for all learners every day, but it does have a big impact (reliever costs and availability), and also on staff wellbeing.

If your child has any symptoms like a runny nose, fever, sore throat, or nausea, please play it safe, by staying home and getting a Rapid Antigen test in case they have COVID-19.

Please continue to let us know here if your child tests positive for COVID-19
