A common query we hear (often from people that haven’t visited our school) is "are you open plan?"

We intentionally say we are not open plan, as our flexible, purposely designed spaces are more "closed" than traditional classrooms.

As the image above shows, our classroom environments are designed for 2-3 classes of students and have multiple areas/separate rooms, compared to the majority of traditional classes that are one open space (i.e. what we consider to be "open plan").

We are also very fortunate to have state of the art design standards for acoustics, lighting, air quality and heating/cooling, as well as a very clever design.

The vast majority of new schools being built around the world are designed this way because it is recognised that this is the most effective schooling approach, with a wealth of research to support.
