Last week we learned that our region will remain in COVID Level 2 until at least midnight of Wednesday,16th September.

Because of this, we continue to follow Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education advice regarding mass gatherings, and have decided to postpone the following events until Term 4:

• Nearest and Dearest Day
• New parent evening
• Book Fair

It’s been a “mucky” term but we have been so impressed with our learners and their attitudes. To provide some real joy for our students, we have booked in to host the Ice Skate Tour over the last few days of term. Please see separate article for this. 

Note: the Ice Skate Tour has their own stringent measures to deal appropriately with COVID Level 2.

We continue to appreciate your supports under Level 2, with keeping unwell children home and also with the drop-off/pickups from the front gate areas. Next term we can hopefully get back to business as usual, where our parents/caregivers can be fully part of our school again (we miss that!).
