Phase 3

Tony Grey —

Some key info for the week ahead.

In “Phase 3” of the Omicron response, the key change is that only confirmed COVID cases and their household contacts need to self-isolate.

Students who have had contact with positive cases at school, may still attend school.

It is likely that there will be an increase in cases over the next few weeks, in line with the increase in community cases.

Because of this, we ask that all families monitor really closely for any symptoms of COVID-19. If unwell, please keep your child at home and get a COVID-19 test, and advise the school if this is positive.

Where there are a number of cases or additional things to be aware of, we will email specific classes as a courtesy. We know that families may feel uncertain, but attending school has so many benefits for the learning and wellbeing of our tamariki, and we still have a wide range of measures in place to keep everyone as safe as we possibly can.

If you have any queries, please do get in touch. We are here to help.
