We would like to re-introduce our counsellor, Kelly.

Kelly has been based at our school for the past two years in a student capacity during her training.

We are super excited to share that Kelly has now completed her Bachelor of Applied Counselling degree and will be joining our team three days a week to continue supporting with the social and emotional wellbeing of our students.

We feel very fortunate to be able to offer this support to our tamariki and whānau, as typically counselling is not available in primary schools (secondary schools have counsellors funded by the Government).

We are grateful to our Board who are funding this role as we believe this is an essential part of our inclusive learning support and to help with the social and emotional needs of our students.
