Firstly, thank you for all the support over the last 8 weeks! ShieldsUp went from a small group of printers from around the country to being a massive cohort of people with one goal to provide PPE to frontline workers during the lockdown.

In this time we managed to print and deliver nearly 18,000 shields, used 5km of elastic, raised over $100,000, used 484kg of filament which is a length of 161km. We have also been contacted by the NASA JPL (Jet Propulsion Lab) and partnered with HP and their partners - Emirates Team New Zealand and Rodin Cars. The experience has been nothing short of amazing and to be able to live and breathe our school values has been invaluable. 

A huge thank you to Matua Frank for doing such an amazing job and putting many, many hours of work into this project.  We are so proud of you for making a difference in the community.
