Welcome Back to Term 3

Tony Grey —

We are now half way through our first year. While clearly still a “work in progress” as we look to establish our school, there is a lot to be grateful for, and a lot to be proud of.

Our school roll is now close to 200 students which is higher than most people would have predicted. We are coping well with this growth and the recent appointment of three new teachers will mean that we are able to maintain very low class size ratios.

Our first day Pōwhiri was a real highlight and a very special occasion to welcome our new enrolments and whānau, especially because this was our first Pōwhiri led by our own staff and students.

Later this term we will hold our second round of Hui-ā-whānau which is an opportunity for our students to share their learning, achievement and progress with you. Please mark the dates 13th & 14th August in your diary, and further information will come out next week regarding booking a time.
