At the end of each school year there is often some changes to our staffing arrangements, and with our rapid growth we have numerous new team members.

The end of any school year signals some changes to our staffing arrangement, and we farewell Helen McKenzie (part-time release/music teacher), Tracey Byrne (part-time release teacher) & Anna Herbert (Inclusive Learning Assistant) We wish them all well!

We are really excited to have 3 new teachers join us for next year, along with the rest of our amazing teaching and support team.

We are happy to be welcoming Mark, Teresa, and Ally to the team next year.

Mark Craig

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤:
Kia Ora Koutou, my name is Mark Craig and I am very excited to be joining the Te Ao Mārama team in 2022. I spent some time relieving at Te Ao Mārama during 2021, before opening a New Entrant class at Te Kauwhata Primary in Term 3. The amazing culture created by the staff, students and whānau motivated me to join this vibrant community.
I am a passionate teacher who seeks to create fun meaningful learning experiences for children, creating a safe environment for students to work and express themselves, whilst accepting everyone for who they are.
I have a 9 year old daughter and my family and I love to get out tramping in the Waikato’s fantastic bush , visiting the amazing beaches on both coasts and have recently been exploring the Te Awa cycle trails. I look forward to meeting you all in 2022.
