Yellow Week

Anna Pratt —

Next week is Yellow Week at Te Ao Mārama.

There will be a variety of activities happening at school to promote and support the Cancer Society's upcoming Daffodil Day

Daffodil Day symbolises all New Zealanders coming together in the fight against cancer. Money raised is used to support patients with cancer and their families, fund breakthrough cancer research and help reduce the incidence of cancer.

Two of the larger events to be aware of next week include Yellow Day Wednesday, where we will be encouraging all of our students and staff to wear yellow and bring a gold coin for donation to the Cancer Society.

There will also be a special edition Wā Ngākau where we will be celebrating life, by sharing some of our acts from this week Te Ao Mārama has Talent.

All families are warmly welcome to attend Wā Ngākau, starting at 9am.
