Powerhoop fitness classes are so much fun, and you get an all over body workout!What's a Powerhoop?... Powerhooping is based on the principles of a hula-hoop, but is so much easier to use due to the additional weights and thicker diameter. The benefits of the Powerhoop is it will slim your waist, trim your hips, flatten your tummy, improve your posture and strengthen your back.


Hi, I'm Lydia and I am a Powerhoop addict!! I became a certified Powerhoop instructor in March 2019 and have been running Powerhoop fitness classes for over a year at Te Ao Marama school and in Te Kowhai. Every class is loads of fun, and we get to see the benefits of an all over body workout in our increased fitness and strength. The classes cater to everyone - it doesn't matter what your age is, what your fitness level is, or how fit or unfit you are! In a Powerhoop class, approximately one third of the class is hooping, and the rest of the time we are working on our muscle strength and increasing our fitness through cardio.

I personally suffered from bad lower back pain and since starting to use the Powerhoop my pain has disappeared. It is the best exercise to build your core strength. There are so many things I love at Powerhooping - the part I REALLY love is how good it makes me feel!!
