All parents should have received an email from us regarding Winter Sports available at Te Ao Mārama School.

We ask that you carefully read through the information before completing the registration of interest form for your child/ren. Please ensure you will be able to transport your child to games on the specified day of the week.

The registration of interest form must be completed by Tuesday 2nd April as we need to register our teams with the Associations shortly after. We will not be able to register teams unless we have enough students interested so please complete the form as soon as possible.

Fees are indicative only as these could potentially change slightly, dependent on numbers in each team. Invoices will be issued electronicially (via Linc-ED) and payment can be made to our school bank account.

If you would like to offer support to a team by Coaching or Managing but would like some further information/guidance around this, please do not hesitate to contact Matua Hone (hone@teaomarama.school.nz). Support will also be provided to coaches and managers throughout the season.

Additional Sports Information:

• Tennis - We have aligned ourselves with Beerescourt Tennis Club, they run free coaching sessions during the weeks of term 1 & 4. The cost is $120 for one year from signing up. You can purchase a key to the courts for an additional $25 to access the courts to practise in your own time. Matua Hone will be coaching a group of Y5-6 players with the intention of playing in the Waikato Primary Intermediate Championships in term 4. • Golf - We have also aligned ourselves with the Hamilton Golf Club (St. Andrews), they run free coaching sessions during the weeks of term 1 & 4 also. Waikato Golf will be coming into our school to run a few sessions to see if you’d like to join a club in the coming terms. One years subscription costs $165, you will require your own set of clubs to play there. Matua Hone will be taking a group of children who are keen to play at the Waikato Primary Intermediate Championships in term 4.
