Tēnā koutou katoa me ngā mihi i runga i ngā tūāhuatanga o te wā, kua hipa te tau | greetings to you all as we start a new school year.
On Tuesday school resumed with 435 students (up from 117 students on day #1 2019).
An extra special welcome to our many new students and families that started at Te Ao Mārama this year.
Tuesday was also the 5th anniversary of our school opening. What an amazing journey it has been, as we have grown from a small school on day #1, quadrupling in staff and student size over the last 5 years. It has been an absolute joy and we are immensely proud of our staff and tamariki and grateful for the wonderful school community and support.
Please enjoy reading our first newsletter of 2024, which we call Whiria te tāngata (this is the Māori proverb {whakatauki} gifted to our school), meaning Weave the people together.
Please also feel free to contact your child’s whānau teacher or any of the office team if you have any queries.
