Below is an initial overview of the gains our students have made in the core areas of reading, writing and maths.
On Monday night we farewelled our first group of Year 6 students and wished them all the best for high school.
Reminder that we are back at school on Monday 3rd February. School is closed on Thursday & Friday of the first week for Waitangi Day & a Teacher-Only Day.

Sport Waikato
A reminder that we are wrapping up for the year at 1pm this Friday, 13th December.
We are finishing off our lunch order Fridays for the year with donuts. These MUST be pre-ordered on Tuesday/Wednesday.
Another great day at Hospice Waikato & Rainbow Place helping with gardening, painting & car washing. We look forward to continuing our support of this incredible organisation.
A group of Kāhu students created this special project to raise funds to put towards "The Giving Tree".

This Friday brings our very first year to an end. On 30th January we opened the door to 117 students (which has since doubled!) with our initial learners coming from 25 different NZ primary schools, 15 different early childhood centres and also 5 overseas schools.
At the end of each school year there is often some changes to our staffing arrangements, and with our rapid growth we have numerous new team members.
We are lucky enough to have an aged-care facility right across the road from school & some of our students have had the opportunity to visit twice this month.
Please check the wooden seat outside the office for lost clothing and shoes. We will leave this laid out until the end of this week.
The YMCA are running holiday programmes for a wide range of ages at the stadium, and more locally at Endeavour School & Hukanui Primary School.
