Earlier this week, we had 3 teachers in Pūkeko Rua and just 3 students! (it has now grown to 12 students). A big welcome to Bridget Butterworth & Courtney McCulloch, our 2 new teachers who started this week.
We have been incredibly fortunate to receive Ministry of Education support to help resource our school in advance of the growth, which has enabled us to have small class sizes right throughout the school at all year levels.
Pūkeko Rua will grow quickly as our new entrant students begin over the coming weeks, and these teachers will also be working right across Pūkeko, helping our new learners get off to the best possible start!
