Play Based Learning - Nathan Wallis

We're a huge advocate of the work of Nathan Wallis. We are often asked about our school wide philosophy around "play" and this short clip is superb in answering that.
Nathan Wallis - Play based learning by
The more play your child has under seven and the less structured learning there is, the better all their outcomes are. That may seem counter-intuitive, but it is remembering it’s not how early you learn the alphabet or to write your name that predicts your success as an adult, it is the amount of play that you have in your early childhood. So embrace play whānau.
